umarket

01 / Context

umarket is a new marketplace initiative with complex integrations across platforms in the wider group. As the team grew, it was organized into tribes in January 2026; I first joined Product Experience and moved to Growth & Discovery in April.

02 / My contribution

• Collaborate across frontend, backend, and product to build marketplace capabilities and integrate group platforms.
• Contribute to product search, dynamic collections, flexible homepage and listing layouts, customer acquisition, and product syndication.
• Evaluate search approaches, including Algolia and an in-house solution, against product needs.
• Support a four-engineer team with work coordination, technical decisions, code reviews, and shared knowledge of group services.
• Contribute to Spec-Driven Development through Spec-kitti, ITTI’s in-house framework based on GitHub Spec Kit; use Cursor and GitHub Copilot in development workflows.
